What is InsideBusiness?
InsideBusiness provides easy online and mobile access to a growing range of corporate banking services, anytime, anywhere. You will be able to get an omni-channel experience with real time insights that will eventually become your single source to manage all of your corporate financial transactions and currency exchanges anytime, on any device.
What can I do with InsideBusiness?
You can get instant, easy and secure access to your banking transactions, interactions and insights. InsideBusiness begins with a standard range of interactive banking and reporting products so you can:
- Track and trace mass payments and collections
- Keep your cash flow insight
- Get insight into the value of your outstanding financial markets transactions
- Exchange foreign currencies real-time and manage Foreign exchange risks
- Get an overview of all your latest borrowing positions with ING anytime on your desktop, tablet or smartphone.
- Show counterparties you fulfilled your payment obligation before the payment reaches the beneficiary’s account.
Is InsideBusiness suitable for my business?
If you are an ING Wholesale Banking client or an internationally active mid-corporate client then InsideBusiness is ideal for your needs.
Will InsideBusiness have more functionalities in the future?
Yes, InsideBusiness will continue to offer more functionalities and features as it is developed based on the needs of you, our client. We will continue to launch new features and improve capabilities on an ongoing basis.
Ultimately, InsideBusiness will include ING Wholesale Banking’s full range of services. You will be able to manage all your products by yourself, from contracts and loans, proxies, account opening, payments, to foreign exchange transactions and Mark-to-market reports. Certain features that are currently static, such as the Download Centre for overviews of loan portfolio and cash balancing reports, will become completely interactive in future developments.
How can I start using InsideBusiness?
You can start using InsideBusiness very quickly. You will need to:
- Sign a valid ING channel contract for the legal entities that will use InsideBusiness.
- Confirm which of your team members need access to InsideBusiness.
- Authorise each staff member to access all accounts that are part of your channel contract.
- Get IBP registrations. If your team is registered, no additional paperwork is required and we can get you started quickly.
- Call your relationship manager to get started and you will receive your login details, ING I-Dentity Card and reader.

InsideBusiness is available in a variety of 10 languages:
What countries can currently access InsideBusiness?
InsideBusiness is currently available in Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Ireland, the Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia and United Kingdom. More countries will continue to be added.
How can I start using my ING I-Dentity Card?
Before you can start using your ING I-Dentity Card and ING I-Dentity Reader you must first activate your card and prepare your computer for usage.
To activate your ING I-Dentity Card, check the details on the acceptance form and sign it. Return the form to the address stated on it. You will receive an email as soon as we have activated your card.
How do I use my ING I-Dentity Reader?
You can use your ING I-Dentity Reader in connected and unconnected mode. Choose ‘connected’ or ‘unconnected’ and follow the instructions shown on the screen.
What transactions can I make with Order management?
You can track and trace the orders you send using ING FTP Service or SwiftNet. You will be able to see details of your files, orders and transactions. You can also manage your sign-off process. Currently, you can choose this for all your accounts. In the next update of Order management, you will be able to choose which account you would like to use to sign your orders.
Is it possible to see all orders that are delivered instead of the files?
In the current version of Order management you can only view orders by first clicking on a file. In a future version you will be able to see all orders that were delivered.
What kind of signature classes are supported for the sign-off process?
Order management supports the following signature classes:
- Single signature: Sole signature for transactions
- First signature: First of two signature process
- Final signature: Final signature for two signature process
Please note: Users cannot sign twice for the same transaction.
Which bookings are included in the Cash Balancing Report?
All bookings that are created in International Cash Management structures.
What do I need to do if I want to see the report?
Nothing; the report is in the ‘download centre’ section of InsideBusiness.
How often is the report distributed?
Reports can be generated on a weekly or monthly basis. The default option is monthly; please contact your Client Service Account Manager if you want to change this.
What lending transactions can I access?
ING provides an overview of all bi-lateral lending facilities that you have concluded with us.
What information is visible?
ING provides a daily statement of all facility amounts and drawn and available amounts at the end of each day. [A statement will also provide an overview of key facility terms.]
Going forward we will add further features to enhance the overview, alerts and interactions on your ING loan facilities.
Where can I get further information about the loan overviews provided on InsideBusiness?
If you have further questions about your statements, please contact your ING relationship manager or Lending Services Transaction Manager [their name and contact details can be found in your Lending Services section].
When can I expect further features to the Lending Services section?
We are constantly seeking to broaden our service offering and bring new services to you on a regular basis. Please keep checking this section for further updates!
Which currency pairs can I select?
You can only trade in the currencies that you have accounts for.
Can I complete transactions for multiple companies?
Yes, if you are authorised to trade on behalf on these companies, then you can use a single login account to trade for multiple companies – two or more subsidiaries.
How do I install the InsideBusiness App on my tablet or smartphone?
You can download the InsideBusiness App from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. To find the app in the stores search for 'ING'. The developer of the InsideBusiness App is ING Groep NV. The InsideBusiness App can be downloaded free of charge.
How do I use the InsideBusiness App?
Once you have logged in to the InsideBusiness App you have the option of seeing your Files, Orders and Transactions from Order Management, including the details.
Can I log into someone else's account on the InsideBusiness App?
No, that is not possible. The InsideBusiness App is person-specific. You can therefore only use the InsideBusiness App for which you have registered.
Can someone register for the InsideBusiness App in my name?
It is not possible for someone to register on your behalf. The InsideBusiness App needs to be activated with your details and validated with your personal ING I-Dentity Card in order to prevent unauthorised persons from accessing your information.
Can I install the InsideBusiness App on more than one tablet or smartphone?
Yes you can. If you want to install the InsideBusiness App on another tablet or smartphone, you will have to go through the registration process again for this device and create an mPIN.
Who can use the InsideBusiness App?
The InsideBusiness App is available to customers and users of ING Wholesale Banking who have access to InsideBusiness.
Can I install the InsideBusiness App on more than one mobile phone and/or tablet?
Yes you can install the app on multiple iOS or Android smartphones or tablets, provided that they have access to the App Store or Google Play Store. You do need to complete the registration for the InsideBusiness App separately for each installation. This registration is personal and is linked to your account.
Do I need an Internet connection to use the InsideBusiness App?
Yes, in order to use the App you need a mobile data or WiFi connection.
Can I manage the same banking matters via the InsideBusiness App as a via the InsideBusiness web portal?
The InsideBusiness App for tablet and smartphone provides you with access to Order Management, where you can view your files, orders and transactions. Further functions will be added to the app over time by means of updates.
Can I use the InsideBusiness App abroad?
Yes, you can. Naturally the same precautions apply abroad as you would take in the Netherlands.
In what languages is the InsideBusiness App available?
InsideBusiness app is available in Dutch, English, French and Czech.
Which tablets and smartphones can I use the InsideBusiness App on?
The app is currently available for:
- iPhone with operating system iOS version 8.0 (or higher)
- iPad with operating system iOS version 8.0 (or higher)
- Android phones and tablets with operating system Android 4.0.3 (or higher)
How quickly will my information be loaded on the InsideBusiness App?
The speed at which the InsideBusiness App loads your information depends on:
- The speed of your Internet connection
- The secure InsideBusiness environment
- The number of customers who have also logged in
Usually you will be able to access your information within a few seconds.
Can multiple users log in to the InsideBusiness App on one tablet or smartphone?
You can download one InsideBusiness App per tablet or smartphone. So you can download the app on both your iPhone and Android phone, for example.
Mobile phones often don't have a virus scanner. How does ING ensure that the InsideBusiness App cannot be misused?
Misuse can, of course, never be ruled out entirely. That is why ING has security experts and security systems to monitor the activities on InsideBusiness 24 hours a day and take action where necessary. In order to be as secure as possible when using the app, please follow these rules:
- Always install the updates for your tablet or smartphone and for the InsideBusiness App.
- Be careful with new software on your mobile phone. It can contain viruses.
- Do not modify the operating system on your phone or tablet (e.g. by jailbreaking or rooting it). This will give you less protection against viruses and malware.
- Implement an access code for your phone, and keep it secret.

Do I need to install anything on my device (laptop, desktop, mobile phone, tablet) before I use InsideBusiness?
Before you start using InsideBusiness, make sure your computer or device can connect to the Internet. It will need to run Windows, Mac or a Linux operating system with an up-to-date web browser. If you would like to use the InsideBusiness app, you need to download it from the App Store or Google Play.
Do I need any additional firewalls to use InsideBusiness?
InsideBusiness is an online application that uses your Internet browser. In order to work with InsideBusiness, you must make sure that your firewall allows http and https traffic on your browser. In most cases, this is a standard setting and you will not need to change anything.
